One of reports from Gori, Georgia. SKY news stated that some civilians and Dutch journalist were killed in result of russian bombings. Yes, there are casaulties, but reason… Let’s look. Photo #1.Man lies in the blood on the street. But it was stated: «After bombing of center square of Gori». Ok. But why bomb exploded and killed only people and did not make any destructions and damages to road, buildings? No holes on ground, no signs of explosion!
Here is zoomed fragment of this photo.
Glasses in windows in nearby houses are not damaged! I don’t know such types of bombs which explode and don’t have tha blast wave knocking-out the glass.
The nature of «bombing» becomes clear if you look at Photo #2
Signed «Dutch reporter Jeron Akkermans helps to carry his dead colleague in the center of Gori». Look at blue car on background. Car is damaged but damaged that way as in car crash accidents happen. Looks like it was hit by another car! In case of bomb blast it should be nailed by pieces of bomb and have broken window glasses.
Here is photo #3. Shot few moments later. Face expression of reporter changed. I don’t comment this.
And let’s return to photo #1.
Here is enlarged piece where you can see damaged (crashed!) car too.So what happened? Is it realy aftermath of bombing or is it the car accident, where unfortunatelly several people died? May be they were scared of sounds of warplanes engines. May be they run away in panic heard that «russian tanks are in Gori»? Anyway it is clear that this episode is described in Western media as bombing act of russian forces with no doubt as in worse propaganda. What is this? You decide.

Hm… as I recall some article from the Telegraph, it said the guy was killed not by an exploding bomb. The word was the guy died from a segment of an artillery shell, which exploded close to the international press center. Now the segments of artillery shells fly to not small distances from the places where it detonated, however on the photo I could not see any signs of such a detonation. Yet, if you pay careful attention, all five pictures are taken towards one direction, while it does not show the sides and the rear. The last, 5th picture is taken in a different time, since it shows a body, which we cannot see on the first one. If the last pic shows another accident car, then how probable is to have on an empty main street two crashes in the different ends of the square? The version with the shell, and the fragments hitting probably the driver/car which lost control and crashed into another car seem not that implausible.
It is rather difficult to insist that this was staged. Especially when there are many others pictures with houses transformed into blackened shells, wounded and dead people. There is a whole campaign on the Russian segment of the Internet, sometimes even coordinated by the Kremlin-backed youth organizations like «Nashi» (Ours) and «Molodaya Gvardiya» (Young Guard) that organize Russian bloggers to «launch propaganda campaign against the West and their mass media». The recent Quickvote on the CNN on the question whether Russia is aggressor or peacekeeper thousands of links to the CNN page were found in an indexed search on Yandex.ru, a Russian searching engine, reported the Russian resource Vebplaneta. This is an excerpt from an article of mine to be soon published:
The war was fierce in the cyber space as well. A CNN web-based opinion poll on the Russian-Georgian war has ended up with 92% (over 329 thousand people) considering Russia a peacekeeper, and only 8% perceiving its actions in Georgia as aggression. The amazing part is this CNN Quickvote apparently was immensely distorted as a result of a massive flesh mob organized by the Russian bloggers. According to Vebplaneta the indexed search on the Russian search engine Yandex.ru provided a huge number of links to the CNN web-site, with the comments “Vote ‘yes’, support Russia”, “pass the link to others!”, and so on. Apart from many Russian bloggers on Livejournal, online community networks like News@mail.ru, and Securitylab.ru were involved.

Dumitru Minzarari’s version of episode in Gori in many places is quite reasonable. And possibly victims are really victims of shells flying away far from the exploded bomb. May be it was small-caliber charge which don’t do many damages or leave too many pieces… Who knows? Anyway knowing that caucasians (I don’t want to outrage anyone) VERY often drive very fast and aggressive without fasten seatbelts (I have some expirience in Moscow and in Kabardino-Balkaria) possibility of victims of car accident due to the shock of not-too-far-away explosion. Yes, they are good drivers and brave people, but I saw too many memorial signs and monuments along the roads of Kabardino-Balkaria dedicated to victims of car accidents.
Anyway I have right to doubt that it is completelly objective and truth what western mass-media says.
As for cyber-wars… There are no restrictions to vote against Russia on CNN website. And you claim that it is the flashmob of russian «cyber-guerillas» why people who strongly support Georgia in this conflict didn’t try to overwhelm the result? Or how to explain that western media first raised the shout only when Russian tanks were ready to cross Osetian border while Tskhinvali was bombed by Georgian forces for 12 hours already? Why they kept silence even when Russian representatives in UN notified their colleagues about the Georgian attack on S. Osetia in early morning of 8th if August? What is this? Lack of professionalism of mass-media or intentional silence and apathia?
As result I can admit that this conflict (may be first time last 20 years) is reported from two or more sides. There is no media-dictate of CNN and BBC no more, as it was in Kosovo-oriented hysteria in Yugoslavia or «chemical-weapon» FAKE in case of Iraq. Is this good or not? Will it help to make fair decisions in confict or divide people into different «hostile» camps? I don’t know…

well, as I said it fellas, you just post the fake stories, because you are too lazy to do a proper investigation. It appears that Life.ru deliberately did not post all the photos from this series, to show the case as a car accident. In fact, it WAS a shelling, and if anyone of you would have gone to the Reuters web-site to check the pics, you’d see the complete story, with photos from the rear and the sides. Look above, I found it rather strange that we did not have that perspective. Here is the link with video and missing photos.

Regarding flashmobs, I can say for myself that I voted only once.
As you told, Russians are quite lazy «to do a proper investigation», and to vote one more time as well.
